V Municipal Strategies Contest 2018
The V Municipal Strategies Contest 2018 (MSC-2018) is aimed to foster and develop strategic planning mechanisms, based on the Federal Law No. 172-FZ of June 28, 2014 “On Strategic Planning in the Russian Federation”, to disseminate strategic planning experience at the municipal level, to identify novations and effective solutions to socio-economic challenges at the level of urban and rural settlements, municipal and urban districts with a population of up to 300 thousand people.
The finals and MSC-2018 Awards Ceremony took place in St. Petersburg during the Annual Strategic Planning Leaders Forum of the Regions and Cities of Russia: Stakeholders of the Future on October 22-23, 2018.
MSC-2018 WINNER – Kinel Urban District (Samara Region).
Jury Choice Award – Kosh-Agachsky District (Republic of Altai).
Second place in total points: Starooskolsky Urban District, third place – Nizhnekamsky District and the Town of Kirovo-Chepetsk.
