[2018-10-10] / Capacity for Innovation, Efficient Management of Natural Resources and Sustainable Transport: The Results of the Third Call of the INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Programme To Be Presented at the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum

On September 18-19, the Monitoring Committee of the INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020 met in Tallinn.

The Monitoring Committee selected 31 project applications out of 114 submitted project applications in the third call, 11 of them – with Russian participation. The Monitoring Committee allocated 59 million EUR to the selected projects.

The results of the Third Call, selected projects of the Second Call and project platforms featuring Russian stakeholders will be presented at the panel session “Innovative, Accessible and Sustainable Baltic Sea Region: Russia-EU Macro-Regional Cooperation Stakeholders”.

The panel session aims to share experience between stakeholders, Russian project partners from the second call, on their outcomes of the first project activity stage.

The speakers include: the Project Officers Team of the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat of INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014-2020; Margarita Golovko, Head of the European Territorial Co-operation Unit, Estonian Ministry of Finance, INTERREG Baltic Sea Region Monitoring Committee Chair; Daria Akhutina, Senior Advisor on Economic Issues and Science, Council of the Baltic Sea States; representatives of international consortiums and stakeholders of the projects from the Second Call.
