At the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum, the awards were presented to the Additional Category Winners of the Municipal Strategies Contest 2018.

The winners are as follows: Kinel Urban District became the winner in the category "The Most Open Strategy Development Process", Mirninsky District (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) won in the category "Systematic Management of a Strategy Implementation", Tomskу District (Tomsk Region) became the best in the category "The Best Strategic Planning Alignment", and in the category "Smart Strategy - Smart City" the first place was taken by the Almetyevsky District (Republic of Tatarstan). Finals was held on September 25 in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation. 

On the second day of the Strategic Planning Leaders Forum, a special master class of winners takes place, which is attended by: Vladimir Chikhirev, Head of Kinel Urban District of the Samara Region; Dmitry Sosnin, Project Coordinator "Municipal Map of Russia: Growth Points", Committee of Civil Initiatives; Alexander Tereshchenko, Head of Tomsk District of the Tomsk Region; Vladimir Klimanov, Director, Institute for Public Finance Reform; Andrei Podovalov, Deputy Head of Executive Committee of Almetyevsk District for Economy, and other experts.
