Digital economy generates fundamental changes in the whole system of social relations, and strategic planning is not an exception. Traditional documentation is losing its role as a data medium; the crucial for public administration is the essence of a strategic planning document, expressed in its main attributes: goals, indicators, activities, targets and resources (data or basic attributes). It is necessary to create a digital environment for a dialogue between strategic planning stakeholders. Such environment will be fostered in a digital platform of strategic management, with its own system of relationships in the digital environment, united by a single data field, using AI and Big Data technologies.
What functionality will this platform have and what challenges will it solve? What modern tools are needed to meet the strategic management challenges effectively? Can strategic planning in the public sphere be useful for business?
